Short & sweet: Replacement time

The replenishment lead time (RLT) is the period from the occurrence of a requirement in a warehouse to the final availability of the goods in the company.

Our tip:

A longer period of time is often required for the quality inspection and sometimes also for carrying out the goods receipt. If it cannot be shortened, this period must be taken into account in the planning process so as not to jeopardize delivery readiness.
