Disposition management for SMBs

Version 4.0 of the Diskover scheduling system for medium-sized wholesalers and series and variant manufacturers also optimizes the supply chain from purchasing to delivery.

The new release is characterized by selection mechanisms for daily scheduling as well as by its portfolio analysis and simulation functions. In addition, Diskover offers distribution-free disposition procedures. Diskover (disposition with the aid of confidence ranges, taking into account the actual stock issue distribution) can be run in version 4.0 as an add-on tool under SAP and the common ERP, PPS and WW systems. Abels & Kemmner programmed Diskover in C++. The central database server, for example Oracle or MS-SQL, communicates with the ERP system via an interface.

The manufacturer recommends the solution for companies with an average inventory value of five to ten million marks.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Kemmner

Prof Dr Kemmner is Co-CEO of the Abels & Kemmner Group and has carried out well over 200 national and international projects in 30 years of consulting work in supply chain management and restructuring and was the only publicly appointed expert for the profitability assessment of industrial companies in Germany for over 10 years. In 2012, he was appointed Honorary Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management by the WHZ. The results of his projects have already received several awards.
