Expert swearing-in extended

Abels & Kemmner helps to facilitate debt capital procurement

With effect from January 2007, the IHK Aachen has extended the appointment of Dr. Götz-Andreas Kemmner as an “expert for the profitability assessment of industrial companies” for a further five years. There are only two experts in Germany who hold this publicly appointed and sworn position, which Kemmner has held since 2005. The expert function for assessing the profitability of industrial companies is primarily used in A&K’s second business area: increasing efficiency and restructuring companies, usually to avoid insolvency or in the event of reorganization.

In the former case, Kemmner works for companies on the recommendation of banks and other lenders. In the latter case, renowned insolvency administrators are the clients. However, it is not only important for crisis-ridden companies to be able to prepare profitability analyses quickly and present them in a reliable manner, as banks and private and institutional investors are also increasingly rewarding independent present and future projections with better conditions when raising (external) capital.
