Funding conditions should change as early as April 2011
While the economy in Germany continues to boom, small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in particular are struggling with rising material costs. According to the Federal Statistical Office, these account for around 45% of annual company costs and are therefore well ahead of personnel costs, which make up around 18%. It is difficult to invest in your own growth under these conditions.
The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) has therefore launched an impulse funding program for SMEs, which currently subsidizes consulting, coaching and training in material efficiency by up to 67%.

Funding only for companies with up to 249 employees
Projects that contribute to reducing the proportion of materials in the company’s total costs through constructive, organizational and planning measures are, for example, potential analyses. Companies with fewer than 250 employees and a maximum annual turnover of EUR 50 million or a maximum annual balance sheet total of EUR 43 million receive a subsidy of up to 67% for such measures and 33% for subsequent in-depth projects.
