Honorary professorship for Dr. Götz-Andreas Kemmner

Dr.-Ing. Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Götz-Andreas Kemmner, Managing Partner of Abels & Kemmner GmbH, was appointed Honorary Professor by the Rector of the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences on 12.06.2012.

Dr. Kemmner was appointed Honorary Professor of Corporate Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the Faculty of Economics at the 5th Zwickau Forum for Business Administration, which also marked the 20th anniversary of the founding of the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences.
Professor Dr. rer. pol. Herbert Strunz, Dean of the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences: “The honorary professorship is a special tribute to Dr. Kemmner’s many years of active involvement with the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences”.

Dr. Kemmner has been professionally associated with the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences since it was founded in 1991 and has been a guest lecturer there for many years. “My professional activities,” Dr. Kemmner emphasizes, “will not change as a result of the honorary professorship. I still see myself as a man of practice who is happy to contribute his experience to initial and continuing professional training.”

Prof Dr Kemmner is Co-CEO of the Abels & Kemmner Group and has carried out well over 200 national and international projects in 30 years of consulting work in supply chain management and restructuring and was the only publicly appointed expert for the profitability assessment of industrial companies in Germany for over 10 years. In 2012, he was appointed Honorary Professor of Logistics and Supply Chain Management by the WHZ. The results of his projects have already received several awards.
