Digitalization: Artificial intelligence to combat supply bottlenecks

Abels & Kemmner and Hpossner Consulting want to make the building materials industry more digital in order to minimize sales losses.

Abels & Kemmner and Hpossner Consulting, providers of services for optimizing the value chain in the building materials industry and trade, have joined forces to form the “SCM@baustoffe” task force in order to support building materials manufacturers and traders in optimizing their supply chains. According to a press release from both companies, the newly created task force will focus on advising companies on the digitalization of the physical flow of goods as well as on automating the management decisions that trigger this flow of goods. At key points, the team will also use artificial intelligence to make processes faster and better and, in some cases, even possible for the first time.
