Short & sweet: Kanban for fluctuations in demand

Kanban enables efficient and reliable control of production according to the pull principle. However, Kanban systems require careful implementation in order to function reliably even when demand fluctuates, for example.

Our tip:

To ensure that Kanban systems work reliably even when demand fluctuates, the control loops must be regularly resized according to seasonality and the safety stocks must be adjusted and readjusted according to the fluctuation in demand and the required delivery readiness.
