Artificial intelligence optimizes warehousing

Logistics problems, production interruptions and exploding material costs have brought the importance of efficient warehousing back into the focus of corporate attention. Companies can now rely on a powerful software solution that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize finished goods inventories and thus readiness for delivery within a few minutes in order to optimally manage their own warehouse stock.

The coronavirus pandemic, as well as other external events such as factory fires, are currently putting global supply chains under massive pressure: freight costs have increased more than tenfold in some cases, and raw materials and components are in short supply or not available at all. This is currently causing drastic production losses for companies with just-in-time production processes, such as the automotive industry, which could have a negative impact on companies for several years to come in the worst-case scenario.
