Abels & Kemmner/ Open Text

Herzogenrath-based Abels & Kemmner GmbH and the Canadian software company Open Text have entered into a sales partnership for Livelink. Livelink is an application for knowledge management in intranets, extranets and e-communities. Under the name Kopl@ (cooperation platform), Abels & Kemmner will develop an Internet-based software platform on the basis of Livelink. This can support globally distributed product development teams. In addition, the company will distribute Livelink, customize it and develop special extensions for supply chain management. The pilot customer is the virtual company Via, which consists of six automotive suppliers.
